Recess Rehearsal Tomorrow

Don't forget! We have rehearsal tomorrow 2/10 during lunch/recess (Advanced Jazz Band) in preparation for the PHS Jazz Festival. Students should bring their food to the band room at 12:15, eat there, then rehearse from 12:35-1pm.

Dress: Same as winter concert. White on top, black on bottom. Boys wear any tie and BLACK SOCKS AND BLACK DRESS SHOES

Report time- 4:40pm. Parents are responsible for transporting students to PHS on time.

***STUDENTS- report back to our equipment/instrument area at 7:15pm***
Warm-up time: 7:30pm
Performance time: 8:00pm


Students will put their instruments, music, and all other belongings in the designated spot for Cranbury School (there will be students from the high school helping direct students to their spot) and then meet in the auditorium for the clinic which starts at 5pm. Please do not forget your instrument or music!! We will sit together as a band in the auditorium during the clinic.

**Rhythm section students-- we will talk at some point at the end of a rehearsal about rhythm section equipment**

Students are required to attend the clinic. After the clinic, student can grab something to eat in the cafeteria (food and drinks will be on sale) or stay in the auditorium to watch other bands. Students are HIGHLY encouraged to watch other bands! Students will After we perform on stage we have to sight read a song as part of the festival. Once that is completed, students are encouraged to stay for the rest of the festival to hear the other bands (including the PHS Studio Band with Denis DiBlasio) and stay for the awards presentation, but are not required to and are free to leave. Our students will be done sight reading around 8:40pm, and the awards ceremony is around 9:40pm.
